Hey Aviral, I’ve looked into this before for an Indian friend of mine, as we wanted to go to Bosnia. Unfortunately, Indian passport holders do need a visa in advance — India isn’t on their visa-free or eVisa list. Even if you’ve traveled widely before (UK, Europe, Japan, etc.), Bosnia still requires Indian passport holders to get a visa in advance. The application goes through the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in New Delhi. They’ll usually ask for your passport, photos, travel itinerary, proof of hotel booking, travel insurance, and financial documents. Since you’re only staying 5–6 days, you’d be applying for a short-stay (C type) visa, which is valid for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. I’d recommend starting the process at least a month before your trip because they can take some time to process, and sometimes they ask for an interview. Best to call or email the embassy directly to confirm the latest checklist and fees — that way you don’t miss anything. Hope that helps, and have a great trip!
