Email error on visa appl and overcharge for visa applications (2)
By Elizabeth Fleischhacker For Turkey Apr 23,2022On 4/21/22 I submitted 2 visa applications online through Turkey e-Visa web site, but was charged for "multiple" visas for both applications. That option automatically appears when the United States is selected on the form, there is no way to select "single". There was no total cost on the form and I did not know the amount would be different from the amount which appears in the information on the web site, that being $51.5 for the visa and $39 for the service fee. I did this on my phone but the page with my husband's (Jerry Fleischhacker) transaction number disappeared and I can't retrieve it. This is a problem because I entered the wrong email address for him. It should be [email protected]. He has therefore not received his confirmation of application submission with his transaction ID.I have sent several messages to the company but the turn-around time is 72 hours and we leave for our trip on the 3rd of May. I am hoping you will be more prompt in responding to help me.
