Immigrant Visa Interview Appointment for Haitian
By Kenson Raymond For Bahamas Dec 27,2025I have a family that had an Immigrant Visa Interview application that has been pending in Haiti for many years and recently was transferred to the Bahamas. I wanted to know what or how I can make sure the family make attended the interview. Do they need a visa or is the interview notice enough for them to attend the interview. Also, for the medical, would it need to be completed at their home country or in the Bahamas?

Hello Kenson Raymond I recently went through a similar interview process, so I understand how confusing this situation can be. The best and safest option is to contact the same embassy or consulate where the interview has been scheduled. They are the only authority that can confirm the exact requirements for attending the interview. In most cases, you should verify directly with the embassy whether the interview notice alone is sufficient for entry or if a separate visa is required to travel to the Bahamas. Entry rules can vary based on nationality, so it’s important to get official confirmation. I hope it will helpful for you .
