Travel to North Cyrus with Canadian Passport

1. We're Canadian/ Iranian (holders of both valid passports) and we live in Montreal/ Canada. My spouse, my son and I will move to North Cyprus. Our flight has one stop from Montreal to Istanbul and then from Istanbul to Ercan Airport. My spouse's Iranian Passport has expired, please let me know if in Istanbul airport he needs to ask for a visa with his Canadian Passport.
2. I have a Job offer in Kyrenia. I'll start working there from February first. My employer is responsible for applying for my work permit. Please let me know if we need to ask for a 90 days visa when we enter TRNC.
