Visa Application Inquiry – Travel to Guatemala from Kenya (January 2026)
By Harron For Kenya Jul 09,2025Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Pastor Harron Sabila Sayekwo, a Kenyan citizen and church leader with the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya – East Gate Chapel. I am writing to request guidance on how to obtain a visa to travel to Guatemala in January 2026.
I have been invited to participate in a missionary training program in Guatemala, scheduled from January 5 to 31, 2026. As there is no Guatemalan embassy in Kenya, I would appreciate your advice on how best to proceed with my visa application.
Please let me know the necessary steps, required documents, whether in-person attendance at your embassy is mandatory, and if there are alternative procedures available for applicants residing in Kenya.
Thank you very much for your kind assistance. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Pastor Harron Sabila Sayekwo

Hello Pastor Harron, Since Guatemala doesn’t have an embassy in Kenya, most Kenyan applicants usually apply through the Guatemalan Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I’d suggest reaching out to them first—they can guide you on whether you need to appear in person or if you can apply by courier. Contact details of the embassy can be found here: https://visa-to-travel.com/embassy-and-consulate/worldwide. Make sure you have your invitation letter, valid passport, travel plan, and financial proof ready. Best wishes for your training program!
