Required supporting documents to submit your application
To finalize your request, click on the "continue" button and then make an appointment at your visa center.
On the day of your appointment, please present yourself with:
Your passport or any other travel document (containing at least two consecutive blank pages) + copy of the identity page of this document and of the last visas obtained
Originals + copy of all the documents listed below, translated into French or English.
Please note : if any of these documents are missing, this may lead to the non-issuance of the visa you have applied for. The visa center reserves the right to ask for further documentation and information.
France - Short-stay (≤ 90 days)
80 €, or about 132 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARs.
Pre-requisites
Application form dated and signed, which must be printed and returned in original when filing the application. No scanning.
A travel document, (+ photocopy) issued less than 10 years ago, containing at least two blank pages, with a period of validity at least 3 months longer than the date on which you intend to leave the Schengen Area or, in the case of a long stay, at least three months longer than the expiry date of the visa requested.
France-Visas receipt which must be printed and returned in original when filing the application. No scanning.
If you are not an Australian citizen : VEVO (Visa Entitlment Verification Online) with passport number updated.
Photograph ID (Australian passport size) cf. FAQ.
Purpose of travel/stay
Reservation confirmation of an organised trip or any other document describing the planned programme.
Reserved return ticket.
Travel health insurance
Travel health insurance certificate contracted in Australia or Schengen country and valid for all Schengen area or french oversea territories (cf. FAQ).
Accommodation
Confirmed hotel reservations or original of certificate of board and lodging ("Attestation d’accueil").
Funds
Detailed transactions list for the last three months (e.g. saving account).
Socio-professional situation
Proof of socio-professional status (e.g. pay slips of the last 3 months, certificate of employment, ABN registration certificate, school attendance certificate, proof of pension) and any documents demonstrating the applicant’s personal links to the country of residence (e.g. copy of marriage certificate, family record book).
Applicable price
The application fee you must pay is: 80 €, or about 132 AUSTRALIAN DOLLARs.
This amount is for informational purposes only and must be paid in local currency, certain individual cases may give rise to specific fees.
Additional fees may also be charged at the time of your appointment at your visa centre.
The amount indicated in the local currency is subject to changes in exchange rates and is subject to change.
