China Expands Visa-Free Entry to 43 Countries
China is making travel easier for visitors from 43 countries by expanding its visa-free entry program.
More Countries Now Qualify for Visa-Free Visits
To support growth in travel and international business, China will allow ordinary passport holders from 43 nations to visit without needing a visa.
Eligible travellers can come for business, tourism, family visits, short-term exchanges, or to transit through China.
Key Details for Travellers
- Who qualifies: Citizens with regular passports from any of the 43 listed countries
- Purpose of visit: Business, tourism, visiting family or friends, cultural exchange, or transit
- Maximum stay: Up to 30 days each visit, without a visa
Travellers from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay can start using the new policy from June 1, 2025.
