List of Countries Offering E-Visa
Many countries have introduced an Electronic Visa or e-visa service to facilitate tourism in their country. More and more countries are making their visa regulations flexible to promote domestic tourism, and one of the first steps to achieve this is the e-Visa.
The e-Visa has made visa processing rather easier for foreign ministries around the world. Governments have started to realize that staffing embassies worldwide for handling incoming visa applications from tourists is a waste of time, assets, and human resources. Moreover, it costs them tourist dollars.
The average tourist may feel compelled to visit the Great Pyramids of Giza or the Taj Mahal, but many travelers hold back their desires due to the time-consuming process of sticker visa. Traveling all the way to the destination country's local embassy, waiting in long queues, and then visit again to get the stamped passport isn't too convenient for everyone. Thankfully, the e-visa is here to allow people to apply online and obtain a travel authorization via email.
This process starts by selecting the desired country you want to travel to, filling up the visa form with required personal and travel-related details, uploading a photograph and scanned supporting documents, and paying for the visa. It is generally an easy 3-step process to apply for an e-Visa, which gets completed in merely ten minutes if you have the required documents ready.
However, not all countries are currently offering the e-Visa service. Following is the list of countries providing e-visa service, with details of eligibility, type of visa, fee, duration, payment method, etc.
