HANOI, VIETNAM – Starting January 30, 2025, nationals of Vietnam and Belarus can start their journeys to each other's countries without the need for visas. This new development comes as a result of a visa waiver agreement signed on December 8, 2023. Under this agreement, passport holders from both nations can have visa-free stays of up to 30 days per entry, with a total allowance of 90 days within a year.

This milestone agreements builds a foundation of diplomatic relation that includes a previous visa exemption agreement for diplomatic passport holders signed in year 1993.
