Conditions for Sri Lanka ETA:
- Valid Passport: As a prerequisite, applicants must wield a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their intended stay in Sri Lanka.
- Purpose of Visit: The Sri Lanka ETA caters to tourists, business travellers, and transit passengers. Applicants are mandated to articulate the purpose of their visit and furnish requisite documentation, such as a business invitation letter or evidence of onward travel.
- Duration of Stay: The Sri Lanka ETA accords a stay of up to 30 days, extendable to 90 days upon timely application before the ETA expiry.
- Designated Entry Points: ETA holders are entitled to ingress through stipulated entry points encompassing Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo Port, and Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport.
- Health Prerequisites: While Sri Lanka does not impose mandatory health prerequisites, visitors are advised to undertake necessary precautions and vaccinations pertinent to their travel itinerary.
- Security Clearance: Applicants must furnish accurate information, as the Sri Lankan government retains the prerogative to bar entry to individuals posing security threats or possessing a criminal record, subject to stringent background scrutiny.
